WhyBecause is an audio-visual and editorial studio founded on one observation: every good story starts with someone saying "wait, why?" We make things to watch, things to read, and things to argue about at dinner.
In 2025, four people with adjacent desks and incompatible opinions asked why lunch had become a luxury good. The answer took four months, ruined two friendships (since repaired), and became our first video. It did numbers. The questions haven't stopped since.
Today we're a studio of researchers, writers, and one person who owns all the cameras. Everything we make follows the same rule: if the answer is boring, the question was wrong.
